Sweepstakes Casinos by State

Availability is the first thing to check and the thing that changes most. These platforms rely on promotional sweepstakes law rather than state gambling licences, so each operator maintains its own exclusion list and revises it without much notice.

Excluded almost everywhere

Washington, Michigan, Idaho and Nevada appear on nearly every list below. If you are in one of those, your options are limited whichever platform you prefer.

What changed recently

Coverage narrowed through 2025 and 2026. High 5 ceased sweeps play in several states after licensing action and later added Arizona. Both High 5 and Stake withdrew from states that legalised real-money online casinos. In August 2026 the Florida Attorney General filed suit against Stake and VGW, the operator behind Chumba. Our state availability guide covers the detail.

Why a VPN is not a workaround

Geolocation is checked at registration and again at redemption. Misrepresenting your location generally breaches the sweepstakes rules, and the practical result is a refused redemption after you have already put in the time.
